In detail:
Montaña de Colores, also known as Vinicunca Mountain, is located in the province of Canchis, in the communities of Pitumaca and Cusipata. It is one of the most outstanding destinations on the Ausangate route, with an altitude of 5,200 metres. In addition, we will visit the Red Valley, located near the 7 Colours Mountain, offering a breathtaking view of a mountain range and valley, which are part of the Vilcanota Mountain Range. The colours of these mountains are due to the high concentration of iron minerals in oxidised state.

We start with the transfer service from your hotel, near the historic centre of Cusco, between 4:00 and 5:00 am.
We head south of Cusco, to the village of Cusipata, where we will make our first stop for breakfast. Then, we will continue by car to the car park from where we will start our hike.
Before starting the hike, our guide will give us the necessary instructions to enjoy it. We will walk for approximately 2 hours to the 7 Colours Mountain. Once there, the guide will provide explanations and there will be enough time to take pictures and explore.
Afterwards, we will continue our trip walking through the Red Valley for about 30 minutes until we reach the viewpoint. Afterwards, we will return to the car park and head back to Cusipata for lunch before returning to Cusco (estimated time of arrival: 17:30 h).
