We will pick you up at your hotel at 4:30 a.m. and head north from the city of Cusco to the village of Mollepata, a place with a pleasant climate located 2,900 metres above sea level. There, we will arrive at the Casa Salkantay Museum Restaurant, a beautiful spot where, in addition to enjoying a buffet breakfast, you can take in the stunning natural scenery of the Apurimac Valley.
We will then continue our journey for another hour along a trail to Soraypampa, a tourist camp located 3,800 metres above sea level. From there, we will begin our hike to Humantay Lagoon, which will take approximately 1.5 hours and will take us up to 4,300 metres above sea level. (Please note that you can rent horses in Soraypampa.)

At Humantay Lake, travellers will have free time to take the best photos of the site. After participating in a reenactment of a mystical ceremony, we will return to Soraypampa to catch the bus back. We will stop again at the Casa Salkantay Museum restaurant for a buffet lunch, after which our guide will provide information about the archaeological artefacts found in the area.

Finally, we will return to the city of Cusco between 5:00 pm and 6:00 pm.
