This full-day tour combines two of southern Vietnam's most iconic destinations — the Cu Chi Tunnels and the Mekong Delta — into a single, well-paced day from Ho Chi Minh City.
This tour is available in three formats: a fully private experience for your group only, a small group tour (maximum 12 travellers), or a standard group departure (maximum 25 travellers). All options follow the same itinerary with the same inclusions.
Morning — Cu Chi Tunnels
Drive to the Cu Chi Tunnels — an extensive underground network hand-dug during the American War, stretching over 250km beneath the jungle floor. Watch a short documentary, then crawl through an actual tunnel section and discover ingenious hidden trapdoors and the Hoang Cam smokeless kitchen above ground. Your guide provides full historical context throughout. Optional shooting range available on-site at extra cost.

Before departing Cu Chi, your guide will take the group to a local Vietnamese restaurant near the tunnels for a set-menu lunch.

At My Tho pier, board a traditional motorboat and cruise past the four famous river islets — Dragon, Phoenix, Unicorn, and Tortoise. On Thoi Son Island, visit a working honey farm with honey tea and banana wine, taste seasonal tropical fruits, and enjoy live Đờn Ca Tài Tử folk music — recognised by UNESCO — in a riverside pavilion.
A traditional sampan ride through narrow coconut canals follows — shaded, quiet, and unhurried.
The afternoon continues to Ben Tre, where a family workshop demonstrates traditional coconut sweets making. Time to browse and taste before the return journey to Ho Chi Minh City, arriving around 5:30–6:00 PM.
