Pick your own Path on a walking tour of Cork. Follow your local Hysterical Histories guide who will show you the city's highlights, and introduce you to some of Cork's most famous and infamous characters as they act, sing and dance their way around the city with you in tow. Your group decides which path we follow.
Meet your guide at Daunt Square in the centre of the city. Look for the person in the cape who will ask you to choose from a variety of options.
Will your group choose to retrace the footsteps of Cork’s famous on an “All the Worlds a Stage/Screen” adventure stopping at sights like the Cork Opera house and Rory Gallagher place and recreating dance moves made famous by the film “The young Offenders”.
Alternatively, will you be meet the characters responsible for Cork’s “Rebel City” reputation stopping for a photo op at the famous English Market and taking in live comedic sketches at the 17th century Elizabeth Fort.
Or perhaps you would like to step back in time and meet some of the city’s “Saints and Sinners” with a visit to St Finbarres Cathedral and some live comedy action at Nano Nagle place.
Or maybe you would like to become part of the action yourself at St Peters Church on our “Medieval Madness” tour and get the chance to ring the bells of Shandon for all the city to hear at we like to call the Eiffel tower of cork or the juke box church
Tours must be pre-booked. Check in for the tour is 10 minutes before the start time of 11am. The tour takes approximately 90 minutes and our guide will bring you back to the starting point when you finish.
Please wear comfortable shoes and be prepared for all weathers, as we will go aead rain or shine. This is Ireland, if we cancelled stuff every time it rained we would never leave the house.
