Visit a Cooperative Shop that helps the Mexican local artisans. Become immersed in the work of this prominent Mexican artist before checking out the National University of Mexico, built in 1551, hosting several murals by Diego Rivera. The Nahuatl word means “Place of Flowers.” Board a trajinera boat and cruise along the Aztec canal system that once connected pre-Columbian towns and villages.
