Early in the morning, we will meet at Salento's brunch restaurant for breakfast and to prepare for our adventure. After a brief introduction to birdwatching, we will adjust our binoculars and practice using them.
Then we set off to Cocora Valley, upon arrival, we'll embark on a 7km hike along the river, crossing six exhilarating bridges - just like Indiana Jones! Our journey takes us to the enchanting hummingbird house, where we'll have the chance to spot up to six different species of these dazzling creatures. After this, we'll ascend to the mountaintop for a delightful picnic, enjoying breathtaking panoramic views of Morrogacho and the valley below. Our descent covers 4.5km, during which we'll continue our birdwatching adventure while exploring the majestic palm trees. This 14km hike concludes with a return to Salento, filled with unforgettable memories.
