Your tour begins from the Hungarian Opera House, from where it will lead you to Museum Square. Positioned in the oldest part of the city, this square in summertime reveals some of the most bohemian and colourful terraces. You'll then continue walking towards Union Square, with a stop to see the oldest and best-preserved civilian house in the city.
Once having arrived in Union Square you will uncover the most famous landmark of Cluj: the Matthia Corvin Statue. There you will learn how the stories connected to his life will lead you through the medieval history of the area. You'll then continue on towards the outskirts of the medieval city to discover several fragments of the 15th-century defence wall, as well as the headquarters of the 2nd-biggest university in Romania.
After learning about the different religions present in town, which include Roman and Greek-Catholic, Unitarian, Lutheran, and Calvinist, the tour will end with a visit to the Orthodox Cathedral.
