What you can expect

Step into the heart of Chianti with a unique and authentic wine experience at Poggio San Polo, an organic, family-run winery set in the countryside of Siena. This experience takes place at one of Poggio San Polo’s wineries situated on the grounds of an ancient Tuscan castle: Castello di Orgiale.

Begin with a warm welcome at the winery, followed by a guided tour of the winery and production areas. Discover how the wines are made, from vineyard to bottle, as you explore the cellar where the wines age in oak barrels. Learn about the winery’s philosophy, winemaking techniques, and the unique characteristics of this legendary terroir.

Then, enjoy a guided tasting of our wines, including our signature Chianti Classico. Your host will carefully tell you the storey behind each bottle. The tasting is paired with a selection of local products chosen to complement the wines. Take time to appreciate the aromas, flavours, and stories behind each bottle. You will also have the option to taste the estate's olive oil.

Conclude your experience with time to explore the wine shop, where you can browse and purchase your favourite wines and local products to take a piece of Tuscany home with you.
