  • Established in 1998, Shufeng Yayun is a renowned cultural venue in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, known as the “Land of Abundance.” It is dedicated to showcasing the rich heritage of traditional Sichuan folk arts and classical Chinese opera to both domestic and international audiences. Combining traditional performances with the atmosphere of a classic Sichuan teahouse, Shufeng Yayun offers visitors a unique opportunity to experience Chengdu’s distinctive cultural traditions.

    Immerse yourself in the world of Sichuan opera with an approximately 80-minute performance featuring a variety of traditional Chinese performing arts. Experience the charm of this distinctive art form in a traditional cultural setting.

    The performance programme at Sufeng Yayun has an approximate duration of 80 minutes and includes the following segments:

    1. Opening Drum and Gong Performance - “Nao Tai”
    2. One-Act Play
    3. Huqin (a traditional Chinese stringed instrument) Performance - “Huqin”
    4. Folk Music Performance - “Penna”
    5. Puppetry Performance - “Puppet Show”
