This transfer to Imbros is a special hiking activity in Chania. Just like the Gorge of Samaria Hiking Tour, the Hike to Imbros Gorge in Chania is one of the most famous and renowned.

Slightly shorter compared to the Samaria Gorge Trail, the Gorge of Imbros is near Sfakia and has a length of 8KM with astonishing views, and astonishing flora and fauna to be discovered!

Our Private transfer to Imbros starts early in the morning when we embark on the air-conditioned van and head to South Crete and the entrance of Imbros Gorge. After a light breakfast at a traditional tavern (Sfakian Pies are a MUST!), you pass the entrance of Imbros Gorge in order to start the 3-hour Hike on your way to the South Coasts of Crete.

After the end of our trail, we reach an abandoned Cretan Village called Komitades: We stand in awe at the traditional architecture and abandoned scenery. At the same time, you again embark on our van to head to Chora Sfakion, the famous seashore village on which we will have the chance to swim in clear waters and enjoy traditional food at the local taverns for about 2 hours.

Having tasted authentic food, seen numerous species of Cretan Wildlife and interacted with hospitable locals on desolate Cretan inland Villages, our day trip to Imbros Gorge will remain in our memories forever, as we get on our car to return to Chania centre at about 18:30.
