What you can expect

  • Chania is a great introduction to Cretan history! Its monuments span more than 5,000 years, from Minoan houses and palaces to the Byzantine and Arab walls, Venetian mansions and churches, and Ottoman mosques and hamams, as well as beautiful neoclassical buildings of the early modern era.
During our tour through the Old City of Chania you will get to see and learn a lot about its monuments, explore “hidden corners” of its old areas, Christian, Muslim and Jewish, and get a deeper understanding of the place and historic events related to it, as well as valuable context from social life, traditions, religion and other local elements you might be interested in.
