We will then wander through Chania's most beautiful alleys, away from the crowded tourist routes, to soak up its unique atmosphere. We will then visit two carefully selected wine bars to taste the island's finest grape varieties. At each stop, two glasses of different Cretan wines will be waiting for you, accompanied by a small bite to enhance your tasting experience. We will conclude our tastings at a Cretan shopkeeper's establishment in the old town, where an authentic local atmosphere is guaranteed! As a passionate sommelier, I will share with you the storey of each wine, its winemakers, and its unique terroir. You will leave with a solid understanding of Cretan wines, and the Vidiano, Liatiko, and Romeiko grape varieties will hold no secrets for you!
