A train tour of Cefalù is the ideal way to discover one of the most charming towns in Sicily, which combines the sea, history, and traditions in perfect balance. The train journey allows you to relax and enjoy beautiful views of the coast and hills, arriving comfortably just a few minutes from the historic old town and the waterfront. As soon as you get off, you are immediately immersed in a Mediterranean atmosphere of light, colours, and unique scents.

The tour begins in the heart of the historic old town, among stone alleyways, medieval arches, and typical shops. Here you will admire the famous Norman Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage Site commissioned by Roger II, which is renowned for its extraordinary Byzantine mosaics. The tour continues to the evocative Medieval Laundry, carved out of the rock and traversed by spring water. During this part of the tour, the guide will accompany the group with a detailed explanation of the main tourist sites lasting approximately an hour and a half, offering an engaging narrative combining history, interesting facts, and local traditions.

For the return trip, you can choose to return with the guide on the 2:30 PM train, scheduled to arrive at Palermo station at 3:30 PM. Alternatively, you can decide to extend your stay in Cefalù: in this case, the guide will provide the return ticket and all the necessary directions for you to return on your own.

It is important to know that the trains used are regional and do not allow seat reservations. Therefore, we cannot guarantee available seats or seats close to each other: in the event of high turnout, you may have to travel separately from the other participants or even stand.
