What you can expect

  • The day begins in Marzamemi, a lively and historic seaside village overlooking the Ionian Sea. Stroll through its iconic square lapped by the sea, visit the remains of the ancient Tonnara, and be enchanted by an explosion of colours, flowers, and ancient stone buildings that offer one photo opportunity after another.
The trip continues towards the Vendicari Nature Reserve, one of the most important wildlife oases in Italy and a true paradise for birdwatchers. Walking along the trails and through the observation huts, you can see the majestic pink flamingos that inhabit the marshes, along with herons, storks, and black-winged stilts that choose this area as a stopover during their migrations. Before leaving, you will admire the remains of the ancient Tonnara with its fascinating Torre Sveva overlooking the turquoise sea.
Finally, you'll discover Calamosche Beach, famous for being one of the most beautiful hidden gems in Italy. Nestled between two rocky headlands, this true natural pool boasts crystal-clear waters and fine white sand, completely sheltered from the currents. It's the ideal final stop for swimming, relaxing and immersing yourself in Sicily's pristine marine paradise.
