Overview

Set sail on a premium catamaran from Heraklion’s Old Venetian Port and embark on a luxurious journey to the exotic Dia. After about an hour of cruising, we anchor in the stunning bay of Saint George, where you can swim in crystal-clear waters or enjoy water activities like snorkelling, fishing, and paddleboarding (equipment available upon request from our crew).

Savour a freshly prepared Mediterranean lunch onboard, featuring Greek salad, green salad, mushroom risotto, local starters, and a main course of shrimp linguine. Complement your meal with fine wine, beer, iced tea, or soft drinks while taking in the serene surroundings.

Sailing from the port of Heraklion to Dia island takes about 1 hour. While sailing you can enjoy the wind and stunning views of the vivid blue colours of the Cretan sea or sunbathe on the deck of the catamaran if the weather conditions allow so. And who knows you might even get to meet the dolphins...

The island of Dia is an uninhabited island 6 miles north of Heraklion with crystal waters, beautiful wild scenery and rich history. The legend says that it used to be a monster created by Zeus to destroy the Cretans but he turned it into a stone to save them eventually. In the bay of Saint George where we anchor there was an ancient Minoan port that got destroyed along with the Minoan Civilisation and sometimes it is possible to find ancient ruins and artefacts in the bottom of the beach. Nowadays there is a beautiful christian church of Aegean architecture. The island is home to many wildlife species such as rabbits, kri-kri goats, hawks and more!
