The circular eco-route starts from the historic Molino de Juan Haro, one of the most representative sites of rice cultivation in Calasparra. From this point, an interpretive tour begins that allows you to discover one of the most unique agricultural landscapes in the municipality, especially during the months when the rice completes its growth cycle.
Along the route, visitors can admire the rice fields and learn how the water, land, and climate create a unique environment that produces one of the highest quality rice varieties in Spain. The route provides an easy way to learn about rice cultivation, discover its different stages — from sowing to harvest — and understand the historical, agricultural, and gastronomic value of this cereal in the region.
In addition to its scenic and cultural interest, the experience can be complemented with other activities according to visitors' preferences, turning the day into a true immersion in the nature and traditions of the well-known Land of Rice.
