The tour begins with a welcome from the hosts, who will take you on an illustrative walk around the farm. You will meet and learn about many animal species besides the Sardinian sheep: llamas, alpacas, peacocks and many varieties of birds from all over the world. After visiting the farm, the tour moves to the sheepfold, the heart of this experience. Here the shepherds will provide an introductory explanation of the traditional art of milking and then begin the practical demonstration. For those who wish, there will be the opportunity to try their hand at this ancient practice and taste the freshly milked milk. This is a unique opportunity to savour the authenticity of rural products and learn the characteristics of ancient and modern techniques compared. Each of these practices is carried out in full respect of safety protocols and animal rights. At the end of the experience, you will be welcomed into the farm building where a selection of genuine local products, based on seasonal availability, accompanied by water and wine, will be offered for tasting.
