There's a difference between learning tango from a teacher and learning it from a dancer.
Our instructors are professional tango dancers based in Buenos Aires — they spend their nights at milongas, many of them compete at the Buenos Aires Tango World Cup every year, and they have dedicated their lives to this dance. When they teach you the abrazo, the walk, or the ocho, they're sharing something they live every day.
Your lesson is private — just you or your group and your instructor, in a well-equipped dance studio as close to your hotel as possible. The first thing they'll teach you isn't a step. It's the feeling: the connection, the embrace, the way tango is really a conversation between two people. Then come the steps: the walk, the basic pattern, the ocho — all adapted to your pace and your level.
Perfect for couples, solo travellers, groups of friends, and families with kids who want a hands-on experience of Buenos Aires' most iconic art form.
Our collective of professional Buenos Aires tango dancers has been doing this for 10 years. Many of them compete at the Buenos Aires Tango World Cup every year. More than 10,000 guests. Zero stage shows.
