What you can expect

Begin your day with a pickup from your hotel in Brisbane and head to the Bayside suburb of Cleveland. From there, take a ferry across Moreton Bay to Dunwich.

Arrive in Dunwich and travel a bush track into Brown Lake for swimming, photographs, and commentary. Spend your morning at Brown Lake, a freshwater lake known for its tea tree-infused waters.

Next, drive through the Blue Lake National Park to Main Beach, a 32-kilometer stretch of white sand. Stop on the beach for photos and shell collecting.

Then, head to Point Lookout’s North Gorge, where you might spot dolphins, turtles, and manta rays. From May 20 to October 31, this is also a prime spot for humpback whale watching.

Continue to Flinders Beach for a classic Aussie BBQ on the beach for lunch. Before lunch, take more photos, swim, enjoy beach games, or simply relax.

After lunch, drive to Amity Point to meet some friendly koalas. Finally, return to Dunwich for your ferry back to Cleveland and then back to your hotel in Brisbane.
