Some places deserve more than a quick visit. The Barossa Valley is one of them.
See more than wineries. Discover the Barossa with a local guide.
If you're planning to stay in Barossa Valley accommodation, you've already made a good decision. I'll collect you from your accommodation, so your holiday begins in the Barossa, not with a long drive to reach it. More time is spent exploring wineries, villages and vineyards, and less time travelling to them.
Your Day. Your Pace.
You'll visit a mix of boutique family wineries and well-known Barossa names, but the day isn't built around a stopwatch. Stay a little longer when everyone's enjoying themselves, stop for a photograph when the light is perfect, or simply relax and enjoy the drive through one of Australia's most celebrated wine regions.
Every guest brings something different to the day. Some have toured wine regions around the world. Others are joining their very first wine tour. Some enjoy discussing vintages and grape varieties, while others simply know what they like in the glass. Everyone is welcome, and everyone experiences the Barossa in their own way.
Your Local Guide.
I'm Charles, and I'll be your guide for the day. I live here, host every tour personally, and genuinely enjoy introducing guests to the Barossa beyond the cellar doors. Along the way we'll visit carefully selected wineries, scenic viewpoints and villages such as Greenock and Angaston, while I share the stories, history and landscapes that have shaped one of Australia's most celebrated wine regions. Valley Wine Tours was named Best Boutique Wine Tour Operator 2026, Barossa Valley in the APAC Insider Awards. Every tour is limited to just five guests, creating a relaxed and personal experience from beginning to end.
A Relaxed Finish.
Your day includes a generous charcuterie-style lunch featuring local cheeses, meats and regional produce at one of the wineries along the way. Cellar door tasting fees are additional and are usually around $10 per person, although they're often waived with a purchase.
With only five guests on each tour, the atmosphere is relaxed, friendly and personal. Whether you're travelling as a couple, with friends, or on your own, you'll feel welcome from the moment I collect you until I return you to your Barossa Valley accommodation.
