Begin your day with a pickup from your hotel in Bishkek. As you leave the city, snowy peaks come into view, and your guide explains the plan for the day and answers any questions.
Within an hour from Bishkek, arrive at the beautiful Ala Archa National Park — one of the most popular winter places in Kyrgyzstan. Snow-covered peaks, a frozen mountain river, and quiet forest paths create a peaceful and refreshing atmosphere.
Inside the park, private cars are not allowed, so take the Eco Bus, which brings visitors deeper into the valley. After the short Eco Bus ride, your guide will offer two ways to explore the area: an easy river walk with chances to feed friendly squirrels and birds or a scenic hike to the “Broken Heart” viewpoint, where you can enjoy wide panoramic views of the snowy mountains.
After Ala Archa, continue deeper into the mountains towards Chunkurchak Gorge, one of the most beautiful winter valleys near Bishkek. The drive takes you through snowy forests and open white landscapes, creating a peaceful and scenic atmosphere.
Your first stop is the Frozen Pigeon Waterfall, where the water turns into beautiful ice formations during winter. The area is quiet and surrounded by snow-covered trees, making it a perfect place for photos. Your guide will lead you to the viewpoint and help you move safely along the snowy path.
Then, visit the famous Sky Bridge, a highlight of Chunkurchak. The bridge stretches between two cliffs and offers amazing views of snowy peaks, deep valleys, and wide winter slopes. Your guide will walk with you, take photos, and show you the best angles for pictures or videos.
Next, take a relaxing chair lift to the top of the mountain. From above, you can enjoy panoramic views of the white valley, silent forests. It’s a peaceful moment and a great opportunity for winter photography.
Afterwards, head to Supara for lunch. The restaurant offers a cosy wooden interior, and beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. Lunch is not included, so you can choose anything you like from the menu.
If you’d like, you can also try a short horseback ride through the snowy forest. This easy and safe activity is available for beginners, families, and anyone who wants a memorable winter experience. Your guide will assist you with everything you need.
If you want to finish the day in a special way, you can add a visit to the natural hot springs located deeper in the mountains. Here you can relax in warm mineral water while snow surrounds you — a beautiful and peaceful winter experience. Please note that visiting the hot springs adds extra time to the trip and makes the return to Bishkek later in the evening. This option is available only by request in advance.
After a full day of winter landscapes and fresh mountain air, begin your drive back to Bishkek. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the quiet evening scenery as the mountains slowly fade behind you. Your guide will drop you off at your hotel or any preferred location in the city.
