Experience a legacy of Serbian hospitality at Restaurant Zlatar, a Belgrade tradition since 1985. While our restaurant has been hosting guests for decades, we are equally proud of our official distillery, Rakija Zlatar, which has been professionally producing premium, double-distilled spirits since 2009.

This is a self-guided tasting experience designed for those who want to enjoy high-quality local products at their own pace. You will have the opportunity to taste the craftsmanship of the Rakija Zlatar distillery in the very heart of the restaurant where it all began.

How it works:
Upon arrival, you will be served 6 different types of premium brandies from the Rakija Zlatar collection. You can choose your favourites from our extensive range of over 30 varieties (such as plum, quince, apricot, and more). To enhance the flavours, we include a traditional “meze” platter featuring local cheeses and cured meats.

There is no formal guide or lecture - this is an informal setting where the quality of Rakija Zlatar and the authentic atmosphere of our restaurant speak for themselves. It is the perfect choice for a relaxed evening with friends or a partner.

The Atmosphere:
To complete your experience, Restaurant Zlatar hosts live traditional acoustic music every evening from 19:00 (7 PM), Tuesday through Saturday. Enjoy the spirit of old Belgrade while sipping on our award-winning spirits.
