What you can expect

Embark on a day trip to Menjangan National Park from Java. Cross the Bali Strait by boat, snorkel in the coral reef, and explore Menjangan Island. Enjoy the flexibility to return to Java or to disembark in Bali.

Start with pickup from your hotel in the Banyuwangi area. Drive to Watu Dodol harbour and board a boat to cross the Bali Strait. Keep an eye out for dolphins as you make your way to the West Bali National Park.

Arrive at the first snorkelling spot, El Garden. Get briefed by a local guide and don your snorkelling gear. Dive into the water and explore the coral reef for 1-2 hours.

Continue to Menjangan Island National Park. Rest, eat snacks, or take a walk on the island where you can see deer. After resting for 30 minutes, head to the mangrove forest and coral garden. Walk along the coral reef cliffs and see the preserved coral reefs.

Return to the boat and cross the Bali Strait to arrive back on the island of Java. If you prefer, disembark in Bali at Labuhan Lalang Harbour.
