What you can expect

Begin your experience at the kennel with a short introduction to the dogs and how to handle them safely. Learn how to use the special waist belts used for hiking with huskies.

During the hike, two guests share one husky, allowing you to take turns walking with and without the dog. This makes the experience more comfortable and enjoyable for everyone, as huskies love to pull and can be quite strong if you are not used to walking with a dog.

Head out on a scenic 1-hour walk (3 km) with our guides through the valley, following trails along the river and surrounded by mountains and northern landscapes. The dogs are eager to explore and will happily lead the way along the trail.

After the hike, return to the kennel where you can enjoy traditional Norwegian lefse while spending a little more time with the huskies.
