You will begin your journey passing through an entrance gate crafted from traditional Jungutan Village materials, stone archways, soil walls, salak frond fences, and reed rooftops. A tamarind turmeric welcome drink awaits you, and you will wear a traditional Balinese senteng cloth throughout your visit.
Rooted in the Hindu concept of Samsara, the cycle of life, death, and rebirth towards spiritual perfection, this living museum spans two hectares of lush greenery in Karangasem. At more than five immersive points, you will witness authentic village activities: weaving, making ceremonial offerings, arak distilling, traditional painting, writing on palm leaves, and silver craft-making.
You will also visit the traditional kitchen where ancestral recipes are kept alive, including megibung, a communal feast where food is shared from one large plate, embodying the Balinese spirit of togetherness.
Stroll among rare tropical plants, connect with fellow visitors in the spacious front field, and bring home a unique handcrafted souvenir as a lasting memory.
