Escape the crowds and uncover one of Lake Balaton’s best-kept secrets on this private sunset safari. We’ll meet you at Balatonszárszó railway station, where your adventure begins aboard our 4x4 jeep, the perfect ride for an off-the-beaten-path journey into nature and starlight.

First, we’ll drive to Astro Garden Balaton, a peaceful astronomy retreat tucked away in the hills. Here, you’ll enjoy a short, engaging talk about the Sun and its power, mysteries, and how we explore it through modern astronomy.

Then, we’ll head off-road to Nezdepuszta, the highest point in Somogy County and a sacred local landmark believed to be the resting place of an ancient Hungarian tribal leader. As the sun dips below the horizon, soak in the panoramic views and experience a live solar observation through a professional solar telescope, catching sunspots and flares before twilight sets in.

This experience is perfect for couples, nature lovers, and curious explorers. It is an unique blend of romance, science, and storytelling set against the golden-hour beauty of the Balaton region. Think of it as a mini safari with an astronomical twist, far from the tourist trail and close to the stars.
