Enjoy your first underwater experience in one of the most fascinating places in the world: Parco Archeologico Sommerso di Baia.

This “Try Scuba” is designed for those who have no experience but dream of breathing underwater and discovering a whole new world. After a short introductory briefing, you will be accompanied step by step by a certified instructor who will guide you throughout the dive.

Once in the water, you will explore a real underwater archaeological site: Roman villas, mosaics and statues lying on the seabed, immersed in a unique environment full of marine life.

The Sea Point diving centre has been operating in the diving sector for over 30 years and has been authorised to access Parco Archeologico Sommerso since the establishment of the Baia Marine Protected Area. Intimate knowledge of the site ensures a safe, high-quality experience.

The facility is located directly on the Baia wharf, with an inflatable boat moored in front of the diving centre: convenient and stress-free access, ideal especially for first-time divers.

How it works

After the welcome, you will receive a simple and clear briefing to learn the basics of breathing and underwater communication. You will then put on your gear and board the inflatable boat, moored directly in front of the diving centre. A short journey will take you to the underwater Archaeological Park of Baia. Once you arrive at the site, you will enter the water gradually, always accompanied by the instructor. The dive lasts about 25/30 minutes, while the total experience lasts about 2 hours.
