What you can expect

Experience Bacalar from the water in a calm and safe way: a sunrise paddleboard (SUP) tour with a floating breakfast and photos included.

We'll start with a welcome and a short class for beginners: posture, balance, basic paddling techniques, and safety rules in the lagoon. Then, with your board and paddle adjusted to your size/weight, you'll head out accompanied at all times by an instructor.

We'll paddle to the Pirates' Canal, where we'll pause for a light breakfast (coffee, fruit, and a snack) as the sun rises. During the tour, you'll learn about Bacalar's history, pirate and Mayan tales, and the importance of conserving this ecosystem, including information about stromatolites and cenotes.

So you can enjoy yourself without worrying about your phone, the instructor will take action photos with a GoPro (included) and we'll share them with you after the tour.
