“Pax Vobiscum!” That young man with the spirited gaze who wandered through the countryside repairing ruins and taking in the destitute, that “Madman,” now known as the “Poverello” (Little Poor Man), was not so foolish after all… From his mind sprang a revolution in society, in the relationship with faith, in art, and in the economy. Today, Assisi is the City of Peace, but also a treasure trove of incomparable art. We will visit the places and works that have reshaped history and created a new narrative of faith in this UNESCO World Heritage City.
