Step behind the doors of The Primate’s Palace in Armagh on a guided tour. Learn about the history of this beautiful neoclassical building, built in 1770, which served as a residence to Archbishop Robinson and was occupied by subsequent Church of Ireland Archbishops until the 1970s.
Meet your guide and begin your tour of the palace, designed by famous architect Thomas Cooley in the classical style. Originally, it had two stories with a basement, but another floor and raised portico were added in 1825 under the primateship of Lord John George Beresford.
