Learn about volcanic eruptions, lava formations, and landscape transformation. Walk on the lava flows Arenal Volcano erupted when it blasted in 1968.

The terrain is natural and uneven but manageable for individuals in reasonable physical condition. After the forest segment, continue to the lava fields for approximately 1 hour of guided volcanic interpretation on solidified lava rock.
