What you can expect

It was here in the 1930s that the famous Tenerelli were created, handmade sugared almonds made with almonds from Puglia and IGP hazelnuts from Piedmont, covered with a double layer of the finest chocolate. The tradition continues to this day and also lives on in the “Giovanni Mucci” Confetto Museum, located in the same historic premises. Divided into four sections, the museum houses historical documents, tools and machinery that tell the storey of this family of master confectioners and their passion for quality.

Recognised as a place of historical interest in 2011, the Confetto Museum is part of the Locali Storici d'Italia circuit and is affiliated with Musei Impresa and Unione Imprese Storiche Italiane. At the end of the visit, an exclusive product tasting will provide a taste of Puglia's sweet tradition.
