Few world destinations are built for biking, but Amsterdam is one of them. Explore the city's best on two wheels, cycling along canals through the Red Light District, passing landmarks like the Rijksmuseum and discovering locals' favourite hidden gems.

Enjoy a memorable city tour – inspired by Pete Jordan’s book “In the City of Bikes”—and travel like a local. Follow your expert guide to the infamous Red Light District before heading to the “Waag” (weigh house—a remnant of the city walls dating to the 15th century. At the central market, soak up sights and smells of coffee shops, restaurants and a variety of organic produce, as your guide narrates intriguing tales of the city.

Admire the remarkable architecture of NEMO—the Netherlands' largest science centre—resembling a ship rising out of the water. Then, pedal to the public library’s terrace, an ideal resting spot and wide, snapshot-worthy city views.

Along the River Amstel waterfront, marvel at the modern architecture of Heineken Music Hall and Borneo Island, an intriguing mix of urban development and design with colourful houses on the water’s edge. Head northwards and venture off the beaten path to areas of the city that most tourists miss—see quintessential dikes, heritage, and suburban landscapes that contribute to the charm of Amsterdam.

Wasn't small. There was 15 people and doesn't help when people don't know how to cycle properly. Dax was a brilliant guide. Thanks
