DAY 01:
Journey through cloud forests and enchanting hiking trails
We will pick you up at the fucking meeting at 05:30 and 06:00 am. Then we will embark on a journey along winding Andean roads, passing through picturesque hamlets and villages until we reach Ajanaco, the gateway to the jungle at 3,500 metres above sea level. As we descend the winding paths into the cloud forest, we will be surrounded by lush vegetation, including orchids, heliconias, and ferns.

Keep an eye out for the vibrant wildlife that inhabits this region, such as the cock-of-the-rock, umbrella bird, trogon, quetzal or orioles. Finally, we will arrive at our lodge, where you can relax and rejuvenate after an exciting day of exploring.

DAY 02:
Discover Atalaya: Explore the mystical Machuwasi lagoon and fascinating night walks
After breakfast, we will embark on a short walk to observe a wide variety of birds and monkeys in their natural habitat. Next, we'll take a one-hour bus ride to the port of Atalaya, where we'll board a boat for a 30-minute ride to our lodge. Along the way, you can choose to take a refreshing dip in the river or enjoy a rejuvenating mud bath.

After lunch, we will visit the captivating Machuwasi lagoon and sail on a raft, where we can encounter shanshos, monkeys, reptiles, dwarf caimans, capybaras, tapirs and other fascinating creatures. After dinner, we will embark on an exciting night hike to further explore the natural wonders of the region. We will spend the night in our comfortable hostel, surrounded by the beauty of the Amazon.

DAY 03:
Parrot clay lick, enriching walks, exploration of the watchtower and return trip to Cusco
As the sun rises, we will embark on a captivating journey to the parrot clay lick, where we will witness the magnificent spectacle of these vibrant birds delighting in the nutrient-rich wall. After a delicious breakfast, we will return to Atalaya by boat, before hopping into the van for our return trip to Cusco. Along the way, we will encounter enchanting sights such as hummingbirds, orchids, waterfalls and possibly spot other species of birds or even monkeys. Leaving the green jungle behind, we will cross the impressive Andean peaks, culminating with our arrival in Cusco between 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm. Meals include breakfast at the lodge and lunch in the middle of the cloud forest.
