Know before you book

  • You will get a full refund if we do not encounter a whale (From 1 February 2024 to 19 March 2024 only)
  • If you require the pickup, please contact us in advance to arrange transport from the pick up places, and confirm your hotel information so we could confirm you the closest pick up place
  • If you do not require pick up, please come to the meeting place 30 mins before the departure time.

Whale Watching Tour from Okinawa

With guidance from our experienced crew and veteran captain, you’ll learn fascinating facts about these gentle giants. Our multi-language audio guide (English, Spanish, French, Thai, Japanese, Cantonese, Mandarin, Korean) ensures everyone can enjoy and understand the experience.

Meet our friendly team at the port (English, Japanese, Cantonese, and Mandarin spoken) and set off on a comfortable boat trip. Spend up to three hours searching for whales and about one hour observing them up close. Watch in awe as they breach, splash and play right before your eyes.

Departure Times

  • Naha Departure: 9:00 AM & 1:45 PM (pick-up available for bookings made before 15:00 on the previous day)

  • Chatan Departure: 9:00 AM & 1:30 PM

Important Information

  • For safety reasons, pregnant women cannot board. No refunds will be given if boarding is refused on the day of the trip for this reason.

  • Whale Guarantee: Between February 1 and March 15, 2026, if no whales are spotted, enjoy a full refund or free re-boarding. Outside this period, no refunds or re-boarding will be provided.
