Piedras Rojas

We will visit the Los Flamencos National Reserve, where we will enjoy its immensity surrounded by wildlife in Laguna Chaxa. We will have a delicious breakfast in the middle of the Tropic of Capricorn, then head to the altiplano. Here we will visit the Miscanti and Miñiques lagoons which are sacred to the indigenous people of Atacama. They are located at 4,200 metres above sea level at the base of the Andes volcanoes and their waters have striking and intense colours that will stay with you long after you leave. We will continue the adventure to reach the South Salt Flat of Aguas Calientes, better known as Piedras Rojas. We will walk for approximately an hour to reach the famous "Beach" where we will see the waters that bathe this salt flat and where, on its volcanic rock formations, we will have one of the best views you will have on this adventure.
