I welcome you to the cellar, where we'll start tasting our wines. We'll enjoy a video explaining how Alsace wines are made (suitable for children). I'll then take you on a tour of the family cellar, which dates back to 1850, to see the hundred-year-old oak barrels we still use to make our wines.
Following the organic conversion of my estate, we have renovated our cellar and are taking advantage of this new setting to offer our future visitors a new activity. We have a scenographic area in the cellar with an immersive 180° video projected onto the barrels - the only one of its kind in France… This film is not a remake of anything you can find to date about working in the vineyard… But a film about my rather rich personal history, and my working philosophy. The whole thing was projected in the cellar, onto hundred-year-old oak barrels at 180° (mapping on certain sequences) with sound work, allowing the audience to be totally immersed in my storey.
We'll finish the tasting in our dining bar area. You can enjoy a soup, a mixed board (cheese, fish and charcuterie), an Alsatian dessert and a coffee/tea.
For vegetarians, please let us know in advance. Throughout the meal, each dish is accompanied by a glass of wine from the estate.
Children can choose from a menu of sausages, vegetable crisps, drinks and dessert. You can also choose not to register your children, and they can choose a menu on the spot!
A guide will be on hand throughout the visit to answer any questions you may have.
