Visit the historic centre of the city of Almeria beginning with the Purchena Gate, one of the oldest entrances to the city. From there, walk the old streets whilst discovering the history of the Civil War shelters, the Arabic Cisterns, the Old Square, and the old Muslim Medina, where you will learn about its founder; Jairán.

Moving on, stroll through the cathedral-fortress area, Plaza Bendicho, and Celia Viñas, not forgetting the Sanctuary of the Virgen del Mar, the School of Arts and Crafts, and the Cervantes Theatre. The Doña Pakyta House-Museum and the Nicolás Salmerón Park will then be the prelude to the emblematic English Cable, where your tour ends with your guide explaining one of the best iron engineering works in the city.
