Come and explore in a single day: Santa Pola with its harbour of Roman origin, the most spectacular salt flats in Spain with their amazing Pink Lagoon in Torrevieja, and the famous island of Tabarca with its crystal-clear waters.
Lagunas de la Mata Natural Park and Torrevieja
We'll start our adventure in Alicante and head towards Torrevieja. After a short stop, we'll enter the Lagunas de la Mata Natural Park and Torrevieja to see the salt mountains. We can't miss the pink that stands out in the lagoon due to the natural phenomenon that forms in the wetland. After a visit to the salt flats and admiring this unique landscape that will give us one of the most original photographs, we'll continue our journey.
Boat to Tabarca
Our next stop will be at the cruise port of Santa Pola to take the boat that takes us to Tabarca Island. Its 1,800 metres in length and just 400 metres in width make this island a place where you can see every corner on foot. There are no cars on its streets. Just the sea, seaside-style houses, and amazing people. Tabarca enchants all its visitors, from the most adventurous to lovers of the Mediterranean or water tourism. After a short guided visit of part of the island, you'll have free time for a swim, to take photos, and to try its delicious cuisine.
Short guided visit to Santa Pola
We'll take the boat back to Santa Pola, where we'll discover its past as a Roman harbour on a short visit to its old town, to learn about its rich history shaped by the sea. Then you'll have free time to explore the streets, beaches, or the harbour of this fishing town.
After spending the day in these wonderful places, we'll take you back to the activity starting point. Don't miss the opportunity to discover the best of this corner of the Mediterranean.
