Before starting the journey, guests will be welcomed at our rest stop on National Highway 27, Buon Dong Guol, Lien Son Lak Commune (200 metres from Lak Pass), where they will complete the check-in procedures and receive a safety briefing.
Afterwards, continue approximately 3 km to the forest entrance along a concrete road, with lush forest on one side and the vast expanse of Lak Lake on the other.
From the parking area at the forest entrance, begin a 2 km trek through rolling hills, forest trails, and natural paths, following elephant footprints until you find the elephants feeding and roaming freely in their natural forest habitat.
You will observe the elephants from a safe distance while your guide and mahout share fascinating stories about the elephants, their natural behaviours, and unique biological characteristics, as well as insights into the surrounding forest and the local culture.
At the end of the tour, return to the parking area and transfer back to the rest stop.
