Discover one of Addis Ababa's most unusual wildlife experiences. Just a short drive from Mount Entoto, visit an area known for regular sightings of wild spotted hyenas, often observed during daylight hours. With a local guide, watch these fascinating animals in their natural environment and learn about their behaviour and role in the local ecosystem.

Continue with a short hike through a peaceful forest, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes, rolling hills, and traditional farmland. Along the way, visit a local village and gain insight into rural life on the outskirts of Addis Ababa.

Reach a scenic viewpoint overlooking the capital, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the entire city of Addis Ababa, the surrounding highlands, and the beautiful countryside below. The area is also considered one of the best places to watch the sunset, offering spectacular colours, stunning scenery, and excellent photography opportunities.

Note : Wildlife experiences depend on natural conditions, and during heavy rain the hyenas may stay inside their caves. We will always do our best to provide the best possible experience.
