Today you will visit the legendary Ngorongoro Crater, part of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Formed by an ancient volcano, this natural amphitheatre is home to an incredible concentration of wildlife, often described as one of the densest in Africa. After a scenic descent through lush forest, you’ll explore the crater floor, where elephants, buffaloes, zebras, lions and even rare black rhinos can be seen. Most animals remain inside the caldera thanks to its year-round water and grazing. You’ll enjoy a picnic near Lake Magadi, where hippos rest in the shallows and birds circle overhead. It’s a truly unique safari setting and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Day 4: Great Migration Sightings in Ndutu (Ngorongoro Conservation Area)

  • 1 stop
  • Meals: breakfast, lunch, snacks
  • Accommodation: Nyikani Ndutu Migration Camp

Ndutu Lake

  • 6h
  • Admission ticket included
Today you will explore Ndutu in the southwestern part of the Ngorongoro area, bordering the Serengeti. Herds move here in search of fresh grass, and with fewer vehicles around, the wide open plains feel peaceful and uncrowded. From late January to mid-March, this region becomes one of the key locations of the Great Migration as thousands of wildebeest calves are born. Newborns can stand within minutes and run within hours, a crucial skill where predators are always nearby. This is an exciting time to witness dramatic wildlife encounters and spot lions, leopards and cheetahs in action.

Day 5: Great Migration Sightings in Ndutu (Ngorongoro Conservation Area)

  • 1 stop
  • Meals: breakfast, lunch, snacks
  • Accommodation: TWC Ndutu Kati Kati Tented Camp

Serengeti National Park

  • 7h
After breakfast, you will start the safari by being transferred to the southern part of the Serengeti. Here, your driver will try to find the animals you're most interested in. Serengeti wildlife numbers in thousands: elephants, buffalo, ostriches, giraffes, jackals, hyenas, lions, antelopes, leopards, and cheetahs—just keep your eyes peeled and enjoy the nature around you.

Day 6: Great Migration in the South of Serengeti National Park

  • 1 stop
  • Meals: breakfast, lunch, snacks
  • Accommodation: TWC Ndutu Kati Kati Tented Camp

Serengeti National Park

  • 7h
Today is your final day in central Serengeti. Each day in the savannah brings new and exciting experiences. The lazy lions of yesterday might be on the prowl, and curious elephants may approach. You might even spot a cheetah atop your safari car! This is also a great opportunity to see the famous Kopjes—picturesque volcanic rock formations that provide excellent photo opportunities as animals rest in their shade. Don't miss Simba Rock, the real-life inspiration for the iconic scene in "The Lion King" where Mufasa presents baby Simba. See the very rock that inspired the beloved cartoon!

Day 7: Great Migration in the South of Serengeti National Park

  • 1 stop
  • Meals: breakfast, lunch, snacks
  • Accommodation: Ngare Sero Mountain Lodge

Serengeti National Park

  • 7h
Another day to enjoy the vast plains of Serengeti! This park is a huge space, brimming with life. It is impossible to view it all in one day; today, your guide will show you new places and interesting animals, so that you can get a full perspective. The Serengeti is a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site, chosen because of its important ecosystem, the dense population of animals, and the annual Great Migration. Serengeti was the inspiration for Disney’s “Lion King” feature film, but life here is not a cartoon—it is pure, wild, and beautiful. By dinner, you'll reach your hotel in Arusha (alternative drop-off points are possible upon request).
