Day 1: Labuan Bajo – Cunca Wulang – Wae Rebo
Begin your adventure with a scenic drive from Labuan Bajo to the hidden canyon of Cunca Wulang, where lush jungle and crystal-clear pools await. Continue into the highlands to start the hike to Wae Rebo, the iconic traditional Manggarai village. Along the trail, take part in a light eco clean-up hike, helping keep the forest paths pristine. Spend the night in the village, surrounded by misty mountains and warm local hospitality.
Day 2: Wae Rebo – Ruteng
After breakfast in Wae Rebo, hike back down while continuing a trail clean-up activity in cooperation with local guides. Continue towards Ruteng with a stop at the famous Spider Web Rice Fields (Lingko Cara). In the afternoon, choose between visiting the Homo Floresiensis site or exploring Ruteng Local Market. Overnight in Ruteng.
Day 3: Ruteng – Bajawa
Travel east through the scenic mountains of central Flores. Visit Ranamese Lake, one of the island’s most beautiful volcanic lakes. During the trekking, join a responsible clean-up, collecting waste along the trail. Then stop at Aimere Arak Distillery or Belaraghi Village to learn about traditional palm liquor production. Continue to Malanage Hotspring and enjoy sunset views from Manulalu Hill before overnight in Bajawa.
Day 4: Inerie Volcano – Bena – Moni
Start very early (3am) for the hike up Mount Inerie (approximately 6 hours total), one of Flores’ most impressive volcanoes. After descending, visit the traditional Bena Village. Continue to Moni with a coastal stop at Blue Stone Beach or a Black Sand Beach.
Day 5: Kelimutu – Ende
Before sunrise, head to Kelimutu Volcano to witness the famous tri-colored crater lakes at dawn. This visit emphasises Leave No Trace principles to protect the fragile environment. After breakfast, visit Wolopaku Coffee Plantation before continuing to Ende for your onward flight.
