Reception at Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport and private transfer to your hotel located in the historic centre. Free morning to rest and acclimatise. In the afternoon, meet at 12:50 p.m. in Cusco’s Plaza de Armas to begin the City Tour. The first visit is to the Qoricancha Temple, the former Inca religious centre dedicated to the Sun God. The tour continues by tourist vehicle to the archaeological sites of Sacsayhuamán, Qenqo, Puca Pucara, and Tambomachay, where the guide will explain their historical, architectural, and ceremonial significance. At the end of the tour, return to Cusco around 6:00 p.m. with drop-off near the historic centre. Free evening to enjoy dinner or attend a cultural show.

Very early in the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel in Cusco and transferred to the train station in Ollantaytambo. You will board the tourist train (Expedition/Voyager) and enjoy panoramic views of the Andes and the Urubamba River on the way to Aguas Calientes. Upon arrival, an eco-friendly bus will take you up to the entrance of Machu Picchu for a guided tour through its temples, terraces, and ceremonial areas, where your guide will explain its history, architecture, and Inca worldview. After the visit, you will return by bus to Aguas Calientes for a included lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, you will take the train back to Ollantaytambo, where transport will be waiting to return you to Cusco. Arrival is expected between 9:00 and 10:00 p.m., with drop-off near the historic centre. Schedules may vary according to train availability and entrance time to Machu Picchu.

You will be picked up early from your hotel in Cusco to travel through the Anta Valley towards Mollepata, where you will enjoy a hot Andean breakfast before continuing to Soraypampa, the starting point of the hike. After a brief orientation, you will begin the ascent towards Humantay Lake, a route of approximately 3 km that takes about 1.5 to 2 hours depending on the group’s pace. Upon reaching the top, you will have time to enjoy the stunning turquoise lagoon surrounded by snow-capped peaks. The descent follows the same trail back to Soraypampa, where transport will take you to Mollepata for a buffet lunch. After the meal, you will return to Cusco, arriving around 6:00 p.m. with drop-off near the historic centre and the evening free to relax or explore the city.

Upon reaching the Rainbow Mountain, you will have time to rest, take photos, and appreciate the impressive landscapes, including views of the Ausangate glacier when weather permits. The descent follows the same route back to the transport, which will take you to Tintinco for a well-deserved buffet lunch. After the meal, you will return to Cusco, arriving around 6:30 p.m., with drop-off near the historic centre and the evening free to relax after a rewarding adventure.
