Know before you book

    • You must have a reasonable level of fitness and be able to hike at a leisurely pace for approximately 7.5 miles (12 km) over the course of 4 hours.
    • If you have back, neck, joint, or muscular problems, you should carefully consider whether to participate.
    • If you are prone to motion sickness, please take any necessary precautions. Consult a medical professional before taking any medication.
    • You must be able to ride a bicycle on your own.
    • You must present a passport that is valid for a least 6 months following the end of your activity.
    • An additional surcharge of US 20 per person for the Transit Control Card is payable in cash only on the day of your arrival.
    • An additional surcharge of US 200 per person for admission to Galapagos National Park is payable on the day of your arrival.
    • An additional surcharge of US 5 per person each way for ferry transport between Baltra and Santa Cruz is payable on day 1 and day 5.
    • An additional surcharge of US 10 per person for the Isabela Island dock fee is payable on the day of your arrival.
    • An additional surcharge for taxi service between hotels and restaurants is payable on the day of the activity.

    • You must arrive at Seymour Airport before 11 AM on day 1 and depart after 11 AM on day 5.

What you can expect

  • Explore the breathtaking landscape, tropical climate, and diverse wildlife that can be found throughout the volcanic islands of the Galapagos. On this 5-day excursion designed for thrill-seekers, embark on hiking, biking, and snorkelling adventures across 2 of the province's islands.

    Day 1: Arrival & Transfer to Isabela Island A guide leads you to Santa Cruz Island. Board a high-speed boat for a ride to Isabela. Embark on a trip to Flamingo Lagoon to see the bright pink birds feeding in the wild.

    Day 2: Hiking at Sierra Negra & Snorkelling at Pearl Shell Set off for a hike to the rim of Sierra Negra Volcano. Scope out spectacular views of the crater, and then trek across an otherworldly landscape of lava fields. After a break, head to Pearl Shell for an afternoon of snorkelling with friendly sea lions.

    Day 3: Kayaking in Puerto Villamil & Hiking in Los Humedales Make your way to the dock for a kayaking adventure to Las Tintoreras. After lunch, Hike in Los Humedales wetlands, making stops to uncover secluded beaches, lava tunnels, and sparkling natural pools.

    Day 4: Santa Cruz & Hiking in Cerro Chato Depart in the morning for a speedboat ride back to Santa Cruz Island. Embark on a hike through the rainforest of Cerro Chato, catching sight of majestic herons and furry Galapagos finches.

    Day 5: Departure Make one final stop at the former underground magma chambers of the Twin Craters before returning to the airport.
