Day 1 – Borobudur, Prambanan & Optional Mount Merapi
Your tour starts with hotel pickup in Yogyakarta.
Visit Borobudur Temple, one of Indonesia’s most important Buddhist monuments. Explore its terraces, stupas, and historic reliefs while learning about the culture and philosophy behind this UNESCO World Heritage site.
Continue to Prambanan Temple, an impressive Hindu temple complex. Discover its towering shrines and the Ramayana stories shown in its reliefs.
For extra adventure, join an optional Mount Merapi Jeep tour, subject to weather and volcanic conditions.
Return to your hotel in Yogyakarta.

Day 2 – Yogyakarta to Tumpak Sewu
After breakfast, travel east from Yogyakarta towards Tumpak Sewu Waterfall.
The drive takes approximately 7 hours, depending on traffic and road conditions. Enjoy views of rice fields, villages, plantations, and volcanic landscapes along the way.
Stops are possible for lunch, refreshments, photography, and rest.
Arrive at your accommodation near Tumpak Sewu and relax.

Day 3 – Tumpak Sewu to Mount Bromo
Explore Tumpak Sewu Waterfall, one of Java’s most spectacular waterfalls. Enjoy views of the huge waterfall surrounded by a dramatic green canyon, with Mount Semeru visible on clear days.
Adventure travellers can descend towards the waterfall. The trail is steep, uneven, and sometimes slippery.
Depending on conditions, there may also be time to visit Goa Tetes and its natural cascades.
Continue by car to the Mount Bromo area and check in.

Day 4 – Mount Bromo Sunrise & Surabaya
Wake before dawn for your Mount Bromo sunrise experience.
Travel by 4x4 Jeep across the Sea of Sand to a sunrise viewpoint overlooking Mount Bromo and Mount Semeru. After sunrise, continue to the Bromo crater and walk to the crater rim.
Return to your accommodation for breakfast and check-out.
Continue to Surabaya, approximately 2 hours by car, depending on traffic. The tour ends with drop-off at your Surabaya hotel or airport.
