  • LaPasta Fresca Siciliana: from Flour to Tasting

    Pasta is the undisputed queen of Italian cuisine: what better way to bring with you an authentic memory of Italy than by learning to prepare it with your own hands?
    In our cooking workshop, the chef will guide you step by step in the preparation of fresh pasta, from raw material to cooking and dressing.
    During the first part you will learn how to prepare two traditional doughs: the classic egg pasta and the typical Sicilian semolina dough. With your own hands you will make tagliatelle, stuffed pasta and butterflies.
    In the second part you will discover how to prepare some of the tastiest seasonings of the tradition: Ragù, Pasta alla Norma and Sicilian Pesto.
    After preparing your pasta, the chef will complete the cooking and you can sit at the table to taste what you have made, accompanied by excellent Sicilian wine.
    An experience of about 2 - 3 hours, fun, authentic and deliciously Italian!

    • Customers who have not reached the legal drinking age in Italy, i.e. 18, will not be served alcoholic drinks.
    • For a group of 16 you can proceed by making two separate bookings of 8 people each, for a total of 16 guests
    • List any food allergies or intolerances. Due to the use of flour and shared kitchen equipment, our cooking classes are not suitable for people with celiac disease.

Activity itinerary

After working the dough and shaping the pasta, it will be time to enhance the fruit of your work through the flavours of tradition. You will learn how to choose and prepare the most suitable condiments, discovering how Sicilian Ragout, Norma and Pesto can transform each format into a dish rich in flavour. And then, finally, everyone at the table! The chef will complete the cooking of the Pasta and you can taste your creations together with the other participants, accompanying them with excellent Sicilian wine. A moment of conviviality, between flavours, chatter and laughter, to fully experience the pleasure of Italian cuisine. The experience lasts about 2 - 3 hours and is designed for small groups of up to 16 participants.
