Overview

E-mtb adventure crossing the island from South to North, from Lacona to Tenuta La Chiusa. Already during the first climb to Monte Orello, you will be able to see the eastern part of the island from a privileged position. Going down towards the North, Portoferraio will rise before us in all its beauty. After the descent we will find ourselves immersed in a setting of yesteryear, entering the historic Tenuta La Chiusa (early testimonies 1500). History, tasting and aperitif will bring us some healthy relaxation, before returning to Lacona.

The Elba MTB headquarters located inside the prestigious Residence il Mandorlo in Lacona: swimming pool and pump track will be the backdrop for the initial briefing. The location is at the foot of Colle Reciso.

Portoferraio (Pass by)

From the splendid Tenuta la Chiusa, we will be able to see in front of us the beauty of Portoferraio, with its mighty walls built in the 16th century by Cosimo I de' Medici, Grand Duke of Tuscany, who renamed the new fortress city Cosmopoli, represent a work of high engineering and extraordinary architectural beauty.

Monte Calamita (Pass by)

After the first ascent to Monte Orello, it will be possible to see the eastern part of the island (Monte Calamita) from a privileged position. Note: Time remaining is for the return and time between attractions.
