What you can expect
Day 1: Angkor Thom & Angkor Wat Highlights Tour
Your private Angkor tour begins at 8:00 am with pickup from your hotel in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle. Before entering the Angkor Archaeological Park, we stop to purchase your Angkor Temple Pass.
We then explore Angkor Thom, the last and greatest capital of the Khmer Empire, a vast ancient city surrounded by impressive stone walls. Visit iconic temples and monuments including Bayon Temple, famous for its hundreds of serene smiling faces, the Terrace of the Elephants, Royal Palace area, Terrace of the Leper King, and Baphuon, considered the largest Hindu temple within Angkor Thom.
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant located opposite Angkor Wat.
In the afternoon, continue to discover the world-famous Angkor Wat Temple, the largest religious monument on Earth and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. If you wish to end the day beautifully, head to Phnom Bakheng Hill for a breathtaking sunset over Angkor, arriving before 4:30 pm to secure the best viewpoint.
Day 2: Banteay Srei, Beng Mealea & Floating Village Tour
At 8:00 am, your guide will pick you up for a scenic drive through the Cambodian countryside towards Banteay Srei, often called the “Lady Temple” for its intricate pink sandstone carvings. Along the way, enjoy views of rice paddies, traditional wooden houses, and local village life.
Stop at Phum Preah Dak, a truly authentic village where you can observe locals making palm sugar and traditional palm cakes.
Continue to Banteay Srei Temple, followed by the atmospheric jungle-covered ruins of Beng Mealea, one of the most adventurous temples near Angkor.
After exploring, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant serving traditional Cambodian cuisine.
In the afternoon, visit temples from the Roluos Group, including Bakong Temple and Lolei Temple, among the earliest Angkorian monuments.
Later, travel to Kampong Phluk Floating Village, located on the edge of Tonle Sap Lake, about 21 km from Siem Reap. Take a local boat to explore this fascinating stilted and floating village, where daily life revolves around fishing.
Cruise through the flooded mangrove forest, home to diverse wildlife such as crab-eating macaques, and visit a Buddhist monastery built on an artificial island. Return to your hotel in Siem Reap in the late afternoon.
Day 3: Sunrise at Angkor Wat & Jungle Temples
Please request your hotel to prepare a takeaway breakfast. Pickup is at 4:40 am for an unforgettable Angkor Wat sunrise tour, one of the most iconic experiences in Cambodia.
To avoid crowds, continue early to the jungle-covered Ta Prohm Temple, famously known as the “Tomb Raider Temple.” Then explore major temples along the Grand Circuit, including Preah Khan (Father Temple), Neak Pean, Ta Som (Tree Temple), East Mebon, and Pre Rup, the royal crematorium temple offering panoramic views.
After completing the tour, you will be comfortably dropped off at your hotel.
