What you can expect

Get ready for an unforgettable overnight adventure through the heart of the Red Centre! This small-group experience immerses you in the rich culture, history, and natural wonders of Uluru and Kata Tjuta—two of Australia’s most iconic and spiritually significant landmarks.

Departing from Ayers Rock (Yulara) or Alice Springs, you'll journey deep into Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage-listed site. Along the way, your expert guide will share fascinating stories of the region’s Aboriginal heritage, geology, and local wildlife—offering a deeper connection to the land and its traditional custodians.

Accommodation is truly unique: choose between a permanent safari tent or a traditional swag under the stars. With the desert sky above and the sounds of the outback around you, this experience brings you closer to nature than ever before.

Day 1 begins with pickups from Ayers Rock Airport (AYQ) or Yulara Resortaround midday. If you fly in early enjoy a complimentary resort shuttle that meets every flight and takes you to your accommodation or Ayers Rock Campground to chill out by the swimming pool while you wait to meet the tour group (lunch not included).

Your Uluru experience begins at the Cultural Centre, where you’ll learn about Anangu culture and the significance of Uluru. Then, walk the base of the rock to visit Mutitjulu Waterhole, ancient rock art sites, and the majestic Kantju Gorge, home to Central Australia’s tallest waterfall. The day ends with a breathtaking sunset over Uluru, followed by a hearty dinner at camp.
